Something to think about:
Sometimes it is difficult to realize, at middle school age, the importance of your education. Here is a motivational tool, I hope will raise your efforts on your schoolwork.
Think about the type of car you would like to drive, and then think about what grades you will need to maintain in order to later qualify for a job that will afford your choice. Here are some samples:
Hard worker, separates
work from play, always does their best and pushes their own
boundaries. Knows how to set goals, reach goals, and
celebrate the rewards of a job well done. Works Hard, tries most of
the time to get the best grade. Being successful is
important and is proud of the work they do. Works hard but is
distracted easily, can focus, but chooses when and if they
will work hard, being successful is not a major
goal. Knows how to work but most
often chooses not to. Work? What's that? I'll
think about that later
