When a teacher gives you advice, they are trying to steer you on the easy road from point A to point B. Sometimes the direct route from A to B is not a wise decision and can cost you time, frustration, confusion, and your grade. Teachers are only trying to save you the pain of a negetive experience when they give you advice. Try to remember that.
