Once you have completed the work on Word Processing Project Number 5, you are ready to proceed. Please make sure that your formatting of project 5 was exactly like the sample given, otherwise these instructions will not work. Follow these steps for an easy transition from word processing to the spreadsheet application.

Go back to your word processing project 5 |

Highlight your project 5 (This should only be one page!) |

Go to the Edit Menu and go to Copy |

Switch back to Excel |

Go to the Edit Menu and go to Paste |
You have now successfully brought your word processing project from word processing into the spread sheet. Your document has been formatted to work well in the spreadsheet application. Below is an example of how to format the rest of the spreadsheet.
1 Type in the appropriate
spaces the Quantity, Costs, and Sub-total just
like in the example below. 2 You are now ready start
filling in the number amounts for Quantity and
Cost. 3 Make up prices for all of
the items that you will have at your party. DO NOT FILL IN THE
AMOUNTS UNDER SUB-TOTAL. Once you have
finished entering your numbers for quantity and cost you are ready to
go on to the Spreadsheet projects page.
